Winter Hair Care
When winter brings cold temperatures and low humidity, our skin and hair respond. In the morning, hair sticks out and is more unruly. The scalp and skin feel tighter after cleansing. Static electricity makes the hair stand on end and both scalp and skin tend to flake. Our hands, elbows, and feet feel rougher. Dry, overheated rooms, synthetic fibers and the wind all amplify these conditions. The rule of thumb: release hair static, retain moisture, minimize friction.
